A FULL round of 120-170 stops a day is looking for a delivery driver!
Start date: 27/07/2024
The value of the run is 160£ a day, 6 days a week: Monday to Saturday.

Loading time: 10am, Halwell Business Park, TQ9 7LJ.

Mix of EVRI parcels with weight 0.1 kg to 15 kg, at Kingsbridge. The route is covering West Alvington, Woolston, Marlborough, Salcombe, Soar and Rew. The postcodes are TQ8 and TQ7.

The approximately delivery time of the run is around 5-7 hours, with speed 12 to 30 stops per hour for all deliveries and collections.

Training
The opportunity is for multi-drop drivers, preferably with experience.
All candidate drivers will participate in a one day training inside the instructor's vehicle. The specifics of the multi-drop delivery job will be explained in real-time delivery process and the driver will learn how to be quick, whilst covering successfully all of the EVRI delivery requirements.

Requirements

  • Mobile phone: Android version 11, 12 or newer;
  • Route planner: Circuit or Road warrior delivery software subscription; 
  • Delivery vehicle: B category  - SWB or LWB. If you are a van owner will be perfect, but if that is not the case - you will need to rent a van. If you need help with that - let us know, so we can help you to organise it;
  • Insurance:  Public liability for 5 millions and Goods in transit 25K is a must;
  • Smart equipment: Safety shoes, water resistant clothes and spare socks, first aid kit, etc.

Payment

Payday  
Friday - every week;

Only the first payment will be transferred to the driver's bank account on the second Friday.

Full round payment breakdown:
  • £160 a day (labour+ daily allowance)
Labour payment per day: 
  • £145 - full round;
Additional daily payment:
  • £15 - additional allowance for fuel, route planner subscription, courier insurance, food, etc.
Bonus
  • £120 bonus on the sixth week - as a gratitude for the good performance.

  • CV
  • Valid driving licence;
  • National insurance number;
  • Proof of home address - gas/ water bill or bank statement;
  • Bank statement with sort code and account number details for the weekly payments;
  • Proof of settlement status;

Responsibilities

  • The route should be accomplished in full and all deliveries and collections have to be attempted before 9 pm on the same day.
  • All parcels must be delivered in the promised ETA to the customers or the secure locations at the property.
  • Only collections and refused or damaged parcels should go back to the depot on the next morning.
  • Deliveries on the doorstep are forbidden. EVRI is reviewing all delivery photos and if there is any complains, £35 fine will be held from your weekly wage.
